Key dates from the 6th to the 14th

Jeudi 6th of september : My 2 "students" are now at school! And they do seem to like it a lot!For Chloé : her teachers Betsy et Barbara say that she is doing very well and she does even help other kids sometimes! She is not at all on her side even because of the language, and as usual she is soooooo active!! See the great pictures before departure to school! Of course she is soooo adorable? Well to congrat her for hei first morning at school, a little present was waiting for her in the car, and what a present! : a disguise of Cinderella! Halloween is on its way and disguises and candys... plus our container did not arrive yet... so are her toys then...

Vendredi 7th of september : We went for an hour walk with Claire a Tuck Partner 09 around Dartmouth in the "pine forest" of Dartmouth, at at leaaasttttt 10minutes walking distance from Tuck campus... This promenade nearby the connecticut river was just superbe, very distractive. We had Chloé and myself a very good time. Chloé loves wooden sticks, any type and there she was simply delighted!
Evening : Birthday barbecue at a belgium T'09 - Younes. Networking for us and Rugby game for Chloé.

Saturday morning : we had rendez-vous for a cheese-farm visit - american obviously type of farm, production and food ;°). We got disapointed there... loss of time we came back home for lunch, 2hours before ending... some collegues followed... a shame it could have been very much interesting... and at the afternoon games games games and rest! well for the 2 of us, Auré was back to work - but i guess this is not necessary anymore to mention it - you got it right? - as the first duty is to study and the second to network...
At the evening we were invited by Uma T'09 and so TP'09 and TT'09 Indian family living just across the street... hard to head back home! The indian meals were soooo delicious !! Well i bought one of my favorite chocolate french cake for the dessert - gourmandine au chocolat - which was the least spicy of the evening and i believe apreciated also! I was taught some real indian recipes i might teach you some day!

Sunday was a bit of a grey day as much as the sky... Auré was gone at the morning, came back for lunch an hour about and left again for most of the afternoon, back around 9pm. We felt a little bit on our own but we need to get used to it i believe...

From monday to thursday nothing to say in particular : school mornings for Chloé - the routine is on its way... and for Auré also.
Thursday evening we did invite Sébastien and his family at home for un apéritif dinatoireé. Alice is only 8month younger than Chloé which is very good for both of them. Virginie and I will probably meet again to help the girls to know each other.

Friday was an important day - Auré had class only at the morning - started at 10am... he was then able to rest a little bit more than usual. His days start usually around 7:15 and finish currently around 1am... in the next 6th months it should be even... worth...
The afternoon was quite intense as we got the news : knowing if we could exchange our pink against blue... Wanna know more? Read this to answer your questions... Sweety boy or sweety girl?
The evening barbecue at Tuck was good as usual presenting all the different clubs at Tuck. Aurélien did sign for some clubs of Finance, Soccer, Rugby, Hockey and International club. Me for the next 2 months i will be part of the "gourmet club" and of the Partner group which take place once a week for 1.5 hours (the goal being to speak about objectives of lives - A coach of Tuck is chairing).

Here it is. We are now back at home and everything is ok. Enjoy your week-end!
